ABOUT ME

I graduated from teacher's college in Canada about a year ago and am traveling to Australia in April 2011 to work as a supply teacher and travel. I'm hoping to couch surf a bit while I'm looking for permanent housing in Melbourne and couch surf or camp while I travel the rest of the country.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I'm in Australia I'm hoping to see as much of the country as possible. I enjoy meeting new people, seeing new places, and think that being shown around (or given suggestions for places to go) by a local is ideal!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to CouchSurfing but have done some informal couch surfing with people I've met during my travels in Europe and Canada.

Music? Anything live from classical to folk to electronic. I love outdoor music festivals as well as listening to whatever is on my iPod or radio.

Books and movies... nothing too specific, I'm a fan of most genres. Currently reading Blink by Malcolm Gladwell.
