I'm currently a student studying heritage conservation, which brought me first to Germany and then to Egypt. Previously, I was an English teacher in Korea for three years. Before that I was also a student, so I suppose I've got two main operating modes😆. I love traveling of course, and I'm trying to get around to have as many new experiences and eat as many delicious new foods as I can. I'm always accepting recommendations for both!

One of my friends and housemates has been hosting couchsurfers at our apartment, and I've really enjoyed getting to know them all. It's been great to get a glimpse into this community, and I've met such lovely and interesting people who are all so eager to share their experiences, perspectives, and time. I've also loved being able to give advice about places or experiences to check out, and I get so excited to introduce people to new foods or experiences!

Música, películas y libros

On the day to day, I'm pretty basic in my music choices. I love listening to upbeat pop (especially Taylor Swift) and maybe a little country as well. For relaxing, I love listening to jazz, especially at little restaurants that do live music nights :) I have a serious love for Disney movies and Harry Potter books, although I dooo occasionally branch out into more adult movies and books.

Algo increíble que he hecho

One of my favorite experiences was a three day excursion on horseback through the mountains of Kyrgyzstan during which we slept in yurts and got to know some of the locals. It was truly unforgettable, and not just because I gave myself tendinitis by spectacularly losing an arm wrestling match 😁
