About Me
ABOUT ME
Im an open minded person who loves to meet new people and expose my children to as many new experiences as possible. They to are open minded . I have 4 children with only 1 at home now. My gorgeous daughter 17. I also live with my partner who is just amazing.
My other daughter currently lives in Perth and goes to Uni. I also have 2 sons. I like to cook curries always trying to make the latest one better than the last. Im getting pretty good at Thai green chicken curry. I do like to drink wine. Organic preferably however it depends on how much money I have on the day. We have a fantastic bottle shop here in Albany where you can find a nice wine for a good price.
PHILOSOPHY
I live life and to be the best mum I can (some of my children might dispute that). Also to enjoy the journey and make the best out of a situation, which is not always easy. I love my life and I think that I am very fortunate to have what Ive got.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Our house is about 3 km's away from central albany and 2 kms to the nearest beach so all within a 25 min walk. Depending what is happening on the day I may be able to show you some of our gorgeous town. I also work full time during the week finishing between 4pm and 5 pm so during the day you are pretty much left to do your own thing and I will see you at the end of the day for an alcoholic bevvy or 2.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had a friend who could not offer a couch and he asked me to. I was not registered at the time. I had 2 very lovely young girls come and stay for 3 night. Was very cool so decided to register.
Interests
Love real camping in isolated places with no other people. I enjoy walking when I am doing it but to start is a struggle for me as there is always something else to do. The beach in winter is the best.
People interest me. Good and bad.
Just anything that is interesting.
Music, Movies, and Books
Shaw Shank Redemption is about the only movie that comes to mind. Love the British comedies, nothing in particular with books, just about anything. Actually Im wrong there. Dont like horror anything books movies etc. cant see the point of scaring my self silly. pretty much easy listening music except if I want to dance of course which I love to do. Even if it is on my own in the lounge room late at night.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived at Rottnest Island back in the 80's for 3 years and survived. Rode a camel in the desert and watched the sun set in Rajastan. Visited the Taj. Came out of India alive. Found my self in an odd little
flat in a village in Switzerland unable to speak any german, playing cards with a 70 year old lady who was unable to speak english. No body else around. Yes that was interesting. :) That is the sort of stuff I sometimes find myself doing. Huh Go figure.
Teach, Learn, Share
Most people are good people, however sometimes their behavior may not be so good. Not really sure what I could teach somebody.
