Hi, I'm HaeIn Jeon. I am a university student (in culture and arts management major) living in Korea.

I am studying in a department that specializes in planning activities related to culture and art. Most of my friends dream a lot of musical or performance planning, but I prefer cultural and artistic education and exhibition planning. I'm not only interested in management, so I'm also working on creative writing and drawing. And I like reading books, make accessories which are earrings and necklaces.

Even so because the major is about planning? I has passionate personality like 'Let's go!' when I interested in something. But at the same time, I'm very planned and careful. attach importance to etiquette relatively to others, I tend to fix it quickly if I make a mistake and someone points it out.

Because I am a student now and live in dormitory, I cannot host someone but I would like to invite them if I have a chance after graduation.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Starting couch surfing has a relative to "sharing". I want to be able to share the thoughts and thoughts of different people and enrich the sentences in my head, not just take it lightly by myself. I had find way to make such an experience while preparing for a trip in June. "Is there anything else besides the tour of Airbnb?" I searched the Internet and found a lot of posts about couch surfing. Looking at the latter part, I found that my wishes fit well with the purpose of couch surfing. So I install the application and I'm writing this introduction.

I am very interested in the arts and culture of other countries, also in performances and exhibitions. When I go to an art museum, appreciate it deeply, and think of myself as a person who listens to interpretation and reads it in a relaxed motion.(some times very excited) I especially like exhibitions that contain interpretations of life about post-humanism and very abstract concepts. even more performance art too. I've seen an exhibition in Korea in the form of "dinner" and an exhibition in the form of "sound," and I really like such a variety of interpretations. There's a saying that "art is the last step to include all learning." In the end, all history, culture, and philosophy are embedded in art. So I'm going to concentrate on seeing art museums and museums on this trip.

Of course I can't forget about the tea. I like to drink tea. Jasmine tea and lavender tea are allergic, but except these, I like to drink green tea, musk tea, straight tea. milk tea, too! Most of all, drinking tea makes me comfortable talking, and I can afford to look around a little bit more and look back at my work. There are different parts of the culture of tea and the way we blend it. isn't it?

I'm thinking maybe I just like traveling. I like to hear stories about places I couldn't go, and I love to go somewhere with you. I suddenly want to go, so it's my special to leave quickly or make plans a few months ago. You know there is someone who just gets bored staying in one place for a long time? I always has a suitcase in mind!

Music, Movies, and Books

Is this page write down about favorite, right?
When I am recommended, I tend to listen to music when someone recommended. But most of all is classical music, traditional music, and musicals the most. I like big theater musicals such as [Jekyll and Hyde] and [Les Miserables], but I'm especially interested in small theater musicals. Recently, I have been listening to traditional Mongolian music which called 'humi.' and [fan letter's(musical) number] many times

I really don't know what should I write about book. All of book I read recently is about history(Byzantine, Osman ...) and unique books from independent publishers. So I think it would be better to get recommendations from each other.

My favorite movie is Bicentennial Man. My professor showed me during a lecture on post-humanism, and I still like to think about this movie. Of course I've seen many other movies, but I like movies that have a lot of space to think about after. I would say that I prefer movies with deep thinking space.

What can I share? Since you and I have different lives. This is reason for we can share many things. I can tell you about my travel experience or the story of Korea, and share my thoughts with you on a variety of topics not only art. I can also share my favorite performances and tea!
