About Me
CURRENT MISSION -especially regarding Couch Surfing :)
Be adventurous. Do not be afraid of change and hardship!
나는 내 의지대로 된다!!
I can do what I will!!
Our decision-making gets stifled by dozens of cognitive biases we may not be aware of.
People are motivated more by meaning than by pleasure or even happiness.
Givers-people who try to benefit others in their interactions- are the most successful people, since they create durable, career -enabling relationships.
Let yourself really live.
Live with passion and gratitude, on the edge of your comfort zone.
Live your heart's desire.
ABOUT ME
I'm very outgoing person and strenuous worker! But I like to listen and hear your story.
Coming from Asian country, I grew up in a culture where I respect the others first before we communicate in a straightforward fashion. But living for 5years in the US, I learned how to be assertive and interact with people.
I just graduated the school, and I am using CS again to feel the culture from people wherever I go.
I don't have a lot of references since I couldn't host people in the US. But if you would like to know me more, reach out to me via FB with brief introduction: www.facebook.com/jeongahs
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life to be remembered by my people.
HARDWORKING is a driving force for me to lead my life :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My friend invited me to try the couchsurfing!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have several CS experiences in the US. Some folks who I met through couchsurfing in person are really nice people. Still, you really need to know how to balance between being cautious and being adventurous.
I mostly used CS as a traveler, not a host. I have to speak up on behalf of travelers (especially females) that travelers bear risks to be vulnerable to hosts. Though, I firmly believe good nature in people so exposing my vulnerability leads sincere and reliable interaction between the host and the traveler. Hosts, please treat travelers as a good friend and a important guest, not a business. That means both host and traveler should respect and understand each other. From there, we will have a blast and create a lasting relationship.
I use couchsurfing to meet good friends, not a good partner. If you are looking for someone for dating, do not ask me to meet up in person.
Interests
I usually play the piano during my free time, work out, or listening to the music. I like to talk variety kinds of topics--culture, study habits, volunteer, social work(my major), international studies (my minor), etc.
Ahh... I am very adventurous to try all sorts of foods. I also can cook Korean foods, and I LOVE wines & coffee :D

Music, Movies, and Books
I love everything about movies, music, and books. I try to find the meaning from them. There are so many stuffs that I haven't appreciated compared to my experiences with movies, music, and books! lol
If I have to choose,
Movie: Midnight in Paris
Music: Jazz, Classic
Book: So many.. hmm.... 'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
You will learn once we meet in person :)
Human being is amazing as they are. It is not something that makes you amazing, it is you who made amazing things.
Teach, Learn, Share
I value every single experience as learning.
I am an active listener, so please feel free to share your stories! I will also share, so we will have a pleasant conversation.
And someday, I can also be your part of stories. :)
