ABOUT ME

I'm a Dane from the second largest city in Denmark called Aarhus. I like discussing, talking and joking (having fun!), playing music, meeting new people and also sometimes just to read a book :) I am really sociable but i often travel alone, mostly because I like to decide how I want to travel myself without compromising and just because I meet new people best thıs way :) From the 1. July i'm travelling toward India/Southeastern Asıa mostly by hitchhiking going through Turkey, Georgia, Azerbadjan, Turkmenistan, Iran, many more or just wherever the road takes me. On this one year lasting trip I hope to use CS frequently all though I can't be in an internet cafe all the time. But i guess i'll find a solution of some sort. Contact me if you live in any of these countries - maybe you know a great city, project, couch or just get in touch (do so!).

PHILOSOPHY

I strongly believe in meeting other cultures or just other people than yourself. I don't want to be afraid of what I do not know. To be afraid is one thing, but to be afraid because of ignorance or prejudice opinions is just silly. This sounds a bit cheesy, i know, but for me as someone from Denmark, a highly privatized society, this makes perfect sense ! :)

I want to share my couch and hopefully get the chance to loan a couch from people at places i visit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's brilliant. I'm a frequent hitchhiker which represents the same principle; to share and to meet. So i'm definitely loving the possibility to meet the people from the places i visit and not just the tourists of the places i visit.

Música, películas y libros

I really enjoy jazz, but of course i also listen to pop/rock/soul/electronic/metal/funk and much more. I haven't heard a lot of classic music yet but i definetly intend to do so (I should, right?) :) I really like Miles Davis, Wayne Krantz, Prince, Outkast, Bon Iver, Joni Mitchell, Jeff Buckley, Weather Report to name a few. I don't watch that many movies but i am slowly beginning to show a greater interest for actors, directors and genres and more. I really like the Coen Brothers' movies for example. I read a lot and i don't really have a specific taste; Murakami, Dostovjevskij, Jonathan Safran Foer, Hemingway, Kirkegaard, Erlend Loe, Carl Barks and so much more are all authors I enjoy.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I lived in Thailand when i was 9. I went to a local school where they'd never seen a person with white skin. My family and i traveled on through Asia and ended in India. A journey that definitely shaped the foundation of my worldview.

Ohh, i don't know what to write here. I know something about music, mathematics, astronomy, physics, philosophy, capitals and more but I'm no professor. Maybe the things listed above are more like interests!
