About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life, travel the world, finish my education : )
ABOUT ME
I'm a outgoing danish guy! I love to travel and experience other cultures than my home. It's always nice to put ones own life into perspective.
I love to meet new people, discuss the world, and so on!
PRESENT:
I just moved to Aarhus, after living 2 years in Copenhagen. I now have a masters degree in Finance & strategic management and my first career job is with Vestas Wind Systems, the world leader in renewable energy, specifically, wind turbines. My contribution to this amazing firm is making sure they are pursuing the right corporate strategy in a market with fierce competition :)
Other than that, I moved into a very nice new apartment with a good friend of mine, so now I am FINALLY able to pay back and start hosting fellow surfers!
PAST:
we have succesfully completed our North American Couchsurfing tour - it was a blast! Now it's the harsh reality with endless studies - though in Copenhagen - which is one nice thing!!
With my good friend, Jørgen (http://www.couchsurfing.org/people/joenne/), I will be travelling around the US and Canada for 50 days this coming summer (2009). We are travelling by Greyhound, and this is the first part of our Couchsurfing Tour. Our plan and mission with this trip, is to learn more about the couchsurfing concept! That is why we will also document this, hopefully, fantastic journey of ours. Jørgen is very active in filming and editing, so we are bringing along our video recording equipment, and then it's all about uncovering the world of couchsurfing.
Our biggest goal is to a world couchsurfing tour, where we want to document the aspects of the couchsurfing. How it's possible to bring cultures closer together, it's all about coming together.
We are very excited about all this to come!
We have made a group for our North American couchsurfing tour (http://www.couchsurfing.org//group.html?gid=19719). On the Group, there is a fairly detailed travelling schedule, so you can see which cities we will be visiting and when!! So if you live in one of the cities of our journey, we would LOVE to meet up with you! Perhaps do a little video interview for our documentary!!! Cheers, and hope to see you this summer!!!
PHILOSOPHY
I try to find a trade-off between career and exploring the world. I found myself to be more creative, thoughtful, happy, life appreciate when I'm travelling and exploring.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I know how cool it is to travel around and meet local people. You get to experience the country and the culture in an unique way! And all the friendships that are created! I wouldn't miss that for anything in the world. So if I can show someone a great time in Denmark, it would be my pleasure.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My North American CouchSurfing Tour was breathtaking. I have met so many interesting and kind people. Thank you to everyone who let me couchsurf.
