I've had very good experiences! Hosting, staying in couchsurfers' houses and meeting travelers to walk around cities.

I started in Colombia, continued in Chile where I hosted an Austrian traveler. He came for two days, but finally, he stayed for 5 days, because he felt very comfortable, then he could rest well to continue. We talked a lot every night, had dinner together... and he met some friends.

Then I continued, while I was living in Barcelona and when I was traveling in some cities in Europe.

Movies. I am zero movie connoisseur. I like travel movies (Wild, the way, etc.), the ones where you can analyze the current society through the design of cities (The city of God, Medianeras, etc.) and the classics to watch many times (Big Fish, Amelie, etc.).

Books, I like a lot about education, design (in general, like Design Thinking), in literature I like to read Kundera...
For now I'm registering everything on Goodreads to keep track and write down good options.
