About Me

Hello CS community! I'm very lucky to work for a company in an international role so I tend to fly around a bit.

I love traveling: discovering new sights, tastes, sounds, and points of view. It is one of the most powerful ways to learn, experience, and enjoy new things. That's what life is all about, right?

I'm a kind person, a good listener, and generally pretty zen about most things (or I strive to be!). I've been through some interesting experiences in life, both grand and grim. I suppose it could make for some interesting storytelling if that's something you fancy.

I'm passionate about many things, but around the top of the list is making the world a better place and enabling the best of our species and society. I have tons of random (and incomplete) ideas about how to go about all of that, which I find pretty fun to talk about. Though I can imagine maybe not everyone would? =/

I'm also passionate about learning. To me, traveling, meeting new people, discovering their stories and experiences, exchanging ideas, and creating new types of memories is one of the most beautiful ways to learn.

Born and raised in NYC, I moved out to California to work for my dream company. After three years, I transferred to Paris and lived there for 3 years (same company). Now I'm back in OC enjoying the weather. =)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I prefer having a more 'local' experience while traveling. Meeting different people and acquiring knowledge through human connection.

I've benefited from couchsurfing a little bit in the past so I'm happy to pay the favor forward for folks visiting my area.
