About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Total utilization of available funtimes

ABOUT ME

Lately I've been describing myself as extravagantly homeless; I gave up my home base in Portland and hit the road with my lovely friend Carole and her partner, Patrick, back in April of 2013. Carole uses a wheelchair and a ventilator; Patrick and I share caregiving duties. Together, we make asses of ourselves in exotic locales. We're a whacky little family, currently soaking up all the sunshine and tropical beverages our corresponding organs can handle on the island of Kauai.

PHILOSOPHY

I can't say it any better than these people already have.

"For those who believe in God, most of the big questions are answered. But for those of us who can't readily accept the God formula, the big answers don't remain stone-written. We adjust to new conditions and discoveries. We are pliable. Love need not be a command nor faith a dictum. I am my own god. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us."
Charles Bukowski

"I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, 'If this isn't nice, I don't know what is.'"
Kurt Vonnegut
