I’m a 24 year old university student from Singapore who is studying History and Communication studies. I really enjoy making new friends especially with cultures different from mine. I’m also a big foodie and I want to try delicious foods from all over the globe. I’m currently on my semester exchange in Stockholm and would love to meet new people and new friends :)

I’m learnt music from a young age, and now currently mainly play the drums. Music is something that’s always been a part of my life and made me who I am today. I really enjoy jamming with friends and having fun together. I love jazz music specifically because it allows me to express myself fully through my playing more than any other genre.

I really want to spice up my life and be as spontaneous as possible. I love talking to strangers and learning about others lifestyles. I do believe in the philosophy that every stranger is just a friend that you haven’t met yet. Really hope to make new friends and share great experiences together!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I want to travel to many different places around the world and make more friends from other cultures. I fell in love with the idea of having local friends while travelling and getting to experience many things together that only locals can introduce me to. Travelling to a foreign country and only visiting tourist areas is not as fun and enjoyable as getting to experience a city from a local’s perspective. Therefore I want to meet more people from the cities I visit so that I can experience what it’s like to live there, instead of just getting a macro view of the city.

I listen mostly to Jazz music and Mandarin pop music (JJ Lin, Eric Chou, A-Lin) and Japanese pop music. I’m also in play jazz drums back home with a band my friends and I formed! I also dabble in other instruments such as keyboard and bass guitar :)

I love watching various Netflix series such as How I met your mother, Brooklyn 99 and Money heist. I also used to watch various anime when I was younger. I do watch lots of movies from time to time but usually only the popular ones.
