About Me

I'm a young technical professional who's lived in East Africa since 2021. I'm really interested in culture, history, sports, learning and tech. I play the guitar and I'm a big fan of live music, particularly swing, jazz and more recently, afro-house. As a relatively big nerd, you'll often catch me playing with video game consoles, rubik's cubes, interesting software or debating with people on twitter/reddit. I'm also obsessively tidy and borderline OCD-ish with my space.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My biggest super-power is probably my skill of connecting with people and arguably the best part about traveling and living in different countries has been the people I've met. I'm all about meeting people from different places and walks of life. I'm also working on relocating to Europe in the next year so it's time to start building community I guess.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie of all time is Forrest Gump, and I'm always ready for a re-watch. Shutter Island is a close second. I watch a fair bit of anime and Vinland Saga tops that list. I'm probably one of the biggest Harry Potter fans around as well.

I listen to a lot of R&B music as well, and I'm in love with artists like Bryson Tiller, Frank Ocean and Floetry. My favorite book ever is 'windows' by Jesutomisin Ipinmoye, a very dear friend of mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once had a minor role in a french Netflix series when I lived in Mauritius. I've also starred in a number of plays and theater shows. I'm not the proudest of how I looked in them at the time, so I won't share them now. But there's a chance I might show you a video if we meet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I know a lot of stuff about a lot of things and I'm always willing to share. I'd also like to think that I'm a really funny guy. A good story, a fun experience? You got it.
