About Me
Hello there! I will try my best to give you a rough description of myself! :)
The basics:
- My name is Jeremie
- I'm a 27 years old
- My native language is French
- I’m a student from Lausanne in the French part of Switzerland
- I have a bachelor in English literature and kinesiology
- Next Fall, I am going to start an education school to become a PE and English teacher in Switzerland
Get to know me better:
- I am very caring and love to hear about peoples stories. Love to share experiences. It has undoubtedly helped me grow and gain confidence in who I am
- I make friends pretty easily
- I meditate every day
- I am all about being genuine. I don’t like to pretend and have no problem showing a more vulnerable side of myself
- I don’t believe in a binary world. I'd rather see things as a spectrum
- I love to question everything. Especially the universe, human condition and gender
- I believe that time is more valuable than money
- I am all in for a healthy lifestyle. I go to the gym or play basketball on a regular basis.
- I eat healthy. I try to go vegan as much as I can because I am against animal industrialisation and try to lower my ecological footprint
- I stopped drinking years ago and wouldn’t want to go back
- I don’t say no to marijuana once in a while! :) I think it can give you some perspective that wouldn’t necessarily be accessible sober
- I like to cruise on my skateboard
- I used to be obsessed with Nintendo video games and consoles
- I love synthesizers!
- I am super passionate about music and music production. I could talk about it for hours! Three years ago, I though to myself: what would be my biggest regret and the answer was not to give a go to music production. Even though I had no previous background in music, I started to learn music production on Ableton Live. It has now been 3 years and I’m hooked! I’ve chosen to dedicate to this art. Now, my goal is to work part-time as a teacher so I could spend some more time in the studio. I feel I have something within me that cannot be shared with words. To me, music is the perfect tool to convey deep and powerful emotions. I still have a lot to learn but am willing to put the time and effort. My dream is to give a performance in front of an audience
Over here you can see what my music sounds like. It might help you get a feeling of who I am :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am currently finishing my international exchange program in Laredo, TX. My US visa allows me one extra month after my Spring semester so I plan on going to LA during that time period. I wish to couchsurf because it looks like the best way to see this place from the inside. I don’t want to see the city form a tourist perspective but am rather interested in immersing myself in the lifestyle and culture. I believe staying at a fellow couchsurfer host would help tremendously to get that fuller experience. Also, even though I don’t spend much money because I believe in a simple lifestyle, I am still a student and can’t afford to stay in a hotels or Air BnB’s; especially in California.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Through introspection and meaningful conversations, I stripped myself aways from social and gender pressure. I am now true to myself and fully embrace my sensibility by letting my emotions blossom. These past few year, I've felt more authentic than ever before.
