I enjoy hosting and genuinely love meeting new interesting people. During these recent travels in Latin America many people have opened their homes to me while I have been cycling and hiking. Some have offered tea, some bread, a bed and sometimes directions or water. Many gauchos saved the day for me when it looked like I'd run out of water. Each time a room or couch is offered to me I give my best to have meaningful or light hearted conversations and I always offer to cook! Pizza is becoming my specialty but good sachi papas or veduras y papas are a close second and cookies are what I'm working on to become good at. Well, I love mountain sports also and talking about anything international or domestic. So let's chat!
My background is I grew up in Los Angeles, California then worked as a trail crew (hiking trails) supervisor in Oregon and Washington State before then moving to teach English in Japan for three years. I've been bit by the travel bug and have dedicated this year to learn all I can about Latin America and the people I meet, travellers included.
