I am a Master of Business Student at the University of Calgary. I was born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada and I have been living in Calgary since September 2016. Over the past 3 years I've backpacked Europe, Australia, Central & South America. Now that I am back in uni for the next 2 years I won't have the opportunity to travel as much as I have in the past, I am opening my couch so I can hopefully meet some easy going backpackers travelling through Canada. I also have a roommate from India who is currently completing his MBA too (he does occasionally make some good Indian food).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I won't be travelling much over the next year or so due to uni. I miss staying in hostels and meeting new people from all over the world so I thought this would be a good opportunity to meet some new people and also hopefully provide an enjoyable experience for the couch surfers.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite movie would have to be Fight Club.
My favourite book would have to be Scar Tissue or Fight Club.
My Favourite Music would have to be Fight Club, just kidding. I like the RHCP, Lana Del Rey, The Weekend. Definitely not ashamed to say that I can sing along to most Justin Bieber songs haha. I pretty much like all music but I listen to mostly Alternative. There is usually always music playing at my place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This one time at band camp..... haha I don't know what to put here to be honest. I recently went to Honduras as part of a volunteer group that worked with a local community to help them develop businesses within their community so that the community could be prosperous in the future.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can hopefully provide couch surfers with some fun things to do in Calgary such as which bars to hit up and also some nice parks and things to visit while in Calgary. I also visit the mountains for snowboarding and hiking so I would be able to share some of those experiences with couch surfers.
