About Me

Hey !
I love the ocean and the nature, hence I sail since I am a kid and am learning marine engineering.
Also, I'm found of physics as it gives me the understanding of the fragile world we live in.
I also feel more and more concerned about the environment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and share with them so we both have fun and learn from the other.
Also it allows me to save money so I can use it for buying better food / equipment / activities.
Start your message with "Salutations" or I won't read your message ; I'm bored to read unpersonalized messages.
And if one's has great weekend tips such as nice hike trails or secret coves, I'm up ! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

♫ Basically every well produced lofi/chillhop songs such as Ours Samplus - Pabzzz - Otaam - Joey Pecoraro
♪ But also Tom Misch - Anomalie - Gramatik - Daft Punk - Grand Soleil - Deluxe - Sticky Fingers

Books ... I kind of stopped reading after the age of 12 (Harry Potter and many comics).
Now I'm gradually reading again, a lot of Bernard Werner, a bit of Jules Verne.

I'm not really into movies, stopped watching TV years ago and go to the cinema only one time or two per year.
Still, I enjoyed Jumper, Die Welle, Chappie or the stunning 'Planet Earth' BBC documentaries.
For series I loved Breaking Bad, Dexter and Game Of Thrones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An entry to the Hydrocontest, international student contest on innovation in naval engineering where we built two prototype boats and raced against the others in St-Tropez. Incredible experience with a lot of work during the year and sharing between all the teams.

A bike trip with my best friend, almost unplanned, we went from Gruissan (France) to Empuriabrava (Spain) on a tandem bike. Really nice experience !

I participated to a challenge where I hitchhiked to do a roundtrip from Toulon (France) to Stuttgart (Germany) in only a weekend, had to be back on monday 8AM to be in class.

Did swim with wild dolphins who wanted to play during a regatta in the Mediterranean Sea.

Decided at last minute to spend a semester in Vietnam and found love there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you some French words.
Or maybe you prefer learning about some sailing knots ?
Or you're curious about the physics behind some honey dropping from a spoon ?! But be aware that if you launch me on this subject you'll have to stop me ! (Seriously check that on Youtube that's amazing)

What I Can Share with Hosts

A place to sleep a few nights, make you discover the music I like, tips (or even a visit if I can) about the surroundings.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Viet Nam
