About Me

My name is Jeremy Mueller, I am a student at Baylor University in Waco, TX and originally from Fayetteville, AR. I come from an incredible home with two of the coolest people in the world as parents, my brother who's two years older than me, and my sister who's 8 years younger than me. I am majoring in Religious Studies at Baylor and hope to either attend Seminary in the future or to attend other Graduate school and become a professor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ever since beginning high school, I have had a new found passion for traveling and for people. Unfortunately, traveling can be very expensive and when I came across Couchsurf, I saw a solution. Not only would I find places to stay for free while I travel, but I also would have the opportunity to meet and engage with all kinds of different people with different stories.

Interests

Most of all, I enjoy spending time with my family. I cherish the chances I get to spend time with my family because of their love and care for me. My dad is truly my hero and he has shared so much wisdom and insight with me over the years. Additionally, I enjoy reading, hiking, camping, playing sports (particularly basketball and tennis,) spending time with friends, enjoying a good cup of coffee or tea, finding unique local restaurants, and traveling wherever I can whenever I can.

Teach, Learn, Share

If there's one thing that's been truly impactful in my life, it's been my relationship with God. I fall short on a daily basis, but I am trying every day to pursue Christ in all that I do. It is a difficult path with many hiccups along the way but I hope to be able to embody the words of Acts 20:24 that state, "But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus to testify to the gospel of the grace of God." I want to be God's servant that takes up my cross daily, denies myself, and finishes the course and ministry of the Gospel that God has set before me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I truly love engaging with others and spending quality time with others. I love conversations of intellectual, philosophical, or theological nature. I could talk for hours with other people and I think it is these conversations, this companionship, and this exchange of ideas and knowledge that I could share with hosts as they share it right back with me.
