I am 26 years old. I grew up in California. I've been drawn to traveling all my life and I try to travel at every chance I get both domestically and internationally traveling. I think traveling allows you to grow. I know for me it opens my mind to new cultures, traditions, and practices.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet locals and get a firsthand experience of what it is like to live like a local of wherever I go. I think its super easy to get drawn into the tourist attractions and theres nothing wrong with that but I prefer to also open myself up to things natives do as well. With that being said I usually stay at hostels but I think a good mix of Couchsurfing and hostels is the perfect mix. As much as I enjoy meeting other travelers while I travel, I much more prefer to go out exploring, going to places locals frequently visit, meet people from that region, and create lasting friendships with people from different parts of the world.

Interests

Exploring and seeing the world for myself. Living for today while having fun and appreciating life. I am very interested in people. I love meeting new people hearing how they view the world or what they have done in life, what they like to do and what they plan to do. It may sound cliche but Im honestly interested in everything or should say I can appreciate a little bit of everything and find an interest in it.

Movies: Every genre really. I absolutely love movies!
just to name a few (but seriously this list can go on forever lol): Fight Club, Goodfellas, 25th hour(!), The Departed, Blade, Pitch Black, RocknRolla(!), Snatch, Pan's Labyrinth(!), 500 Days of Summer (!), Glory(!), V for Vendetta(!).

Books
I really need to invest more time and money into books. This list isn't as in depth as I would like it to be (Im definitely accepting suggestions).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've flown an airplane w/o a license. It is complete and total freedom being a few thousand feet in the air twisting, turning, and weaving through the air.
