I'm an editor at the website Slate.com. I love to run, eat good food, cook good food, travel, read, and write, though I do that last one for a living so sometimes I like to take a break. I moved to LA in January. I have lived all over: Nice, Paris, London, NYC, DC, Atlanta, Anchorage. I have also traveled a ton. I'm pretty funny when I'm not trying to convey information that makes it clear to strangers that I'm a normal human being. I'm also kind of funny when I'm doing that, apparently.

Reading the Neapolitan Ferrante books right now and really enjoying them. Into Courtney Barnett and Father John Misty at the moment. I was thinking about rewatching the sopranos then hbo go stopped working and I haven't fixed it yet. I have been watching mindless/fun movies on TV recently just to give my brain a break. For example, I watched parts of Wedding Crashers while packing for the trip that inspired me to set up this account. I like real movies too. If I had to pick someone whose films I really loved, I guess I would say PT Anderson, but I like more offbeat stuff as well.
