About Me

Heya, I don't know about you but I have always found writing "about me" difficult, so here goes, I'm always up for a drink and some laughs. I'm pretty easy going and a big fan of ordering too much on uber eats. I grew up south of Sydney and live here now for work, I often go home and visit my family and go surfing. I am currently dreaming up my next overseas adventure... Where should I go?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Work has me travelling around Australia and the world so my apartment sits empty often, I know from my own travelling experiences how welcoming other travellers can be so I wanted to open up my place and help out in whatever way I can, Plus some of the best people I have ever met have been in hostels. Always up to meet new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love anything vaguely entertaining, Marvel movies are always great (besides Hulk), Star wars, lord of the rings, The benchwarmers, Happy Gilmore, A knights tail, the Bourne series, The Incredibles, Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Saving Private Ryan, Fury... Heaps more!

My taste in music changes depending on how drunk I am. As does my ability(inability) to dance. But basically everything.

I'm currently reading "How to build a universe" by professor Brian Cox and some comedian who's name I don't remember

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once when I was deployed for work in a remote island in the Indian ocean and we had just got there and captain of the ship decided we could go to the island and get beers for everyone, So we took the tender to the only bottle shop on the island, Grabbed as much as we could carry, on the way back the weather had began to roll in, the wind picked up and lightning began to crack all around us, Feeling lucky we continued back to the ship when we were struck, I just remember seeing a white flash and then my ears hurting. We made it back safely and watched the storm roll along while drinking beers. It probably isn't the most amazing thing I have done but I was an exciting alcohol run.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't really know what this section is all about, but I always want to learn about what it's like growing up around the world and hearing cultural differences, What can I teach? maybe how to eat Vegemite correctly?

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, United States
