About Me
I love learning about other cultures and other ways of life. Love getting out into nature. Love reading. Biking. Hiking. Swimming. Walking on the moon
As a HOST:
-I am a traveling English teacher without my own housing and cannot currently accept guests.
Once I settle down in a year or two:
-I commit to any request I accept. Due to my schedule, I can only confirm requests a week or so in advance. I can't make any guarantees a month or more in advance.
-I am always (and especially!) happy to try to help LAST MINUTE CSers (and Returned Peace Corps Volunteers!)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling around Europe for 3 months over the summer of 2015, sometimes with friends and sometimes solo, making up my plans day-by-day, and sending many, many last minute requests, I ended up being hosted more than I expected, both through CSing and people I happened to meet, so I want to give back and host others.
Music, Movies, and Books
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.” ― Mark Twain, The Innocents Abroad/Roughing It
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Night hiked into a rainforest full of countless fireflies in the South East of Madagascar. Danced with a lemur.
