About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Settle into a good early career gig developing solar energy tech, in a fun local, continue to grow, experience life!
ABOUT ME
Outdoorsy, music loving, pretty social, late 20's guy, who loves to cook, get friends together for a few beers, and have a good chuckle. Not a total wild one, but I do enjoy a good tare every now and again - *while also keeping mindful and respectful of people around me, of course. Occupation, lifestyle, & such, I'm just finished with grad school and searching for my first job. I'm a self proclaimed "energy geek," and I try to do what I can for "green" purposes - like recycling, composting, gardening, etc. I play in a bluegrass band. I enjoy snowboarding in the winter, backpacking in the summer, and other outdoor rec activities (rock climbing, fishing, etc.) What else? Well shucks, just have to chat and see, hey?
PHILOSOPHY
"To experience yourself as the source of love is perfection.." or something along those lines. Alex Gray, the artist who makes all those cool graphics for Tool wrote a thing called the Vast Expanse, which had this line towards the end. It really resounded in me when I read it, and I try to live to it.
Also, basically just down with general stewardship of the world, and helping friends...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've long been a fan of all that couch surfing is about. I think there's lots of folks out there who can easily help each other in this way, and in a mutually beneficial fashion. You can always learn a thing or two from meeting new people, and the more friends around the world the better!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've just been roommates with registered CouchSurfers, so interacted with passers-through by helping to host. Now I'm finally setting up my own profile, and I'm excited to see who comes through Golden! I'm also trying to do a bit of traveling on the cheap, and excited to see what's out there!

Teach, Learn, Share
I love to talk about renewable energy. Happy to share what I can about that. Interested in hearing about the history of your town!
