About Me
Working for love is actually my full-time occupation!
I believe in being part of and co-creating a better world, so I create literature (zine-comics) as well as DVD documentaries that express ways of living lovingly and radically different from the economic mainstream "options". (Refer to the next section "Why I'm On Couchsurfing" to see if YOU would like to be a part of a unique lifestyle experiment).
My work also entails offering what I like to call "samples" of the alternate life I espouse. In a nutshell, that means that I do free work projects for people that need help---without any payment required whatsoever!
This means that I "fired the boss(es)" and get to design my own life and each day, so I have a uniquely rich experience of day to day living that few have experienced--and I love it!!
So I'm willing to help out where needed, but it also means that since I'm free, I also choose to not put myself in situations where I feel I'm being exploited, or that there's not a mutual respect taking place.
With that in mind, is there any help you might need?
Love, Light, and Peace-
Jeremy
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To connect with others who are open to unique modes of living and hopefully build deeper levels of community,
so...
In the spirit of adventure, I'm hoping to experiment with a very different living style that involves the dying art of mutual sharing.
What I envision is building a network of hosts (i.e. future friends) that are looking for help in any of the areas I've mentioned in my profile. Depending on the help being requested (free of charge---just a place to sleep and recover during the project is all I'm asking), I would be staying there until completion---even if it's just a simple, one day project.
As this process broadens with friendships developing and deepening, my hope is that my stories and experiences might inspire others to consider trying this as well. Who knows, eventually there could be an actual live-in community that shares all skills, insights, and resources with each other.
So take a look around and consider what help you could use, and let me know what you think!
Just a few points of clarification----
1. Any supplies needed for project help you're requesting will be covered by you.
2. We could discuss, in advance, what the realistic time frame for each project would be.
3. For some strange reason, I've always been fascinated by storage sheds and camping tents as their simplicity as living spaces really appeals to me. So if you are able to offer either of those options as a "couch", even better!! =)

Teach, Learn, Share
I like all of the above! This lifestyle experiment I'm proposing (refer to "Why I'm on Couchsurfing" section) entails each of these aspects. I'm hoping to teach others about unique ways of living, learn life lessons and stories from others, and share a vision of what the world COULD look like when the whole concept of sharing is practiced in more meaningful ways.
What I Can Share with Hosts
At this point I am good at simple maintenance and repairs on homes and cars, gardening, counseling, cleaning...unfortunately I'm not a great cook----YET!
Keep in mind that I said "simple" though! I won't be doing any engine overhauls or re-wiring your house! =)=)
As I accumulate more experience and my skills progress, I will be able to continually offer different types of help. Maybe YOU have a skill that I can learn...
Just ask, and I'll be able to tell you whether or not I can do it :)
