About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Bombing down the west coast! I have until the 16th of June to do as many fun things and go as far as possible on my bicycle. The mission objectives are seeing new places, meeting new people, and having one heck of a journey
ABOUT ME
Kind quiet soul. Love a fine ale and a good adventure.
I've been trying to find my path for quite sometime now through education. The thing that has sunk inter most is that I love to be outdoors and I like being physically challenged.
PHILOSOPHY
After spending my late teens and early 20s carrying ample anxiety about wanting to help the planet, but feeling hopeless about it, I've started living more for myself.
What that entails: doing things that make me happy (which tends to include making other people chipper too!), keeping my footprint as small as possible, and never looking too far ahead or behind the present.
I guess I'm also a bit of a utilitarian hedonist, probably a bit consequentialist too
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm hoping to dive into CS over the next year. Don't currently have a home in Vancouver but once I do it'll surely be host-able.
Currently on my first trip with CS. So far have been blown away by the generosity of the hosts so far (all two of them!). It makes me very excited to be a host myself :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far just stayed with a great couple in Shelton WA and a kind man in Seaside OR. Both experiences have been really great and I am looking forward to the next.
Aside from CS on this trip my travel buddy and I have randomly met a few strangers on the street who have been kind enough to put us up in their homes or at the least in their yard!
Interests
Love to cycle. Enjoy happy tunes. Play the guitar, like to sing (to myself). Dig a good game of crib and a nice walk in the woods! Also an aspiring rock climber.
