About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Get new friends from all over the world !
ABOUT ME
Two years ago, I decided to quit a boring job to live the life of my dreams : travelling, and get money from my own writings. Still in process.
PHILOSOPHY
"There are no strangers in this world, only friends we haven't met yet".
"When nothing is planned, everything is possible".
"The best is yet to come".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In a world where everything is turned to individualism, i really enjoy this project. Sharing experiences, meeting new people, mixing culture : this is a great idea ! I participate by hosting travellers, going to CS meeting in my city, and talking about the project to my friends who want to travel and who share the same state of mind that we can find here.
I had a lot of great experiences with many different people, both surfing and hosting. As long as I can, I will continue using CS, for sure !
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first experience was in London, in July 2010, with Rachel Emily (read the reference below). I was a kind of anxious to be hosted by people I dont know, but it was like being hosted by friends and I had a great time with them. The funny part is, two years after, I hosted her while she travelled in Sweden. This world is small.
Couchsurfing is much more than just having a couch and saving money. Couchsurfing is a way to meet amazing people and make new friends all over the world. And you know what ? I love it !
Interests
- Languages : you can't imagine how many languages I started to learn, thanks to magical internet. But as you can see, I only speak english and french :D
- Writing : since I quit my job as a tv-journalist, I live just through my writings (mostly blogs, but my next aim is to get published)
- People : I love to know new people, understand who they are, why they are being who they are, acting as they act, thinking what they think!
- Music : from classical to heavy metal, jazz, pop-rock, or downtempo hip-hop, i spend a lot of time in listening to music. This opening of my taste is recent, that's why 90% of my CDs are rock and metal.
- Music (again) : making loud and heavy sound with my guitar ( is it called playing ? hmm :D ).

- TV-shows : Dexter, Lost, How I Met Your Mother, ...
- Movies : Trainspotting, The Butterfly effect, Requiem for a dream, Slumdog Millionnaire, ...
- Books : not only novels but a lot of different kind of books. From Pierre Desproges (that guy has a great sense of humour) to Arnaldur Indridason (islandic writer, thriller).
