I have hosted travelers several times, and surfed in a few spots.

I love sports, comedy, and food, and enjoy discussing culture and current events, among other things. I like spending my time enjoying outdoors, getting lost in cities especially on a bike, having a few beers with friends, or playing games of all kinds.

I recommend reading Into The Wild and seeing the documentary Surfwise for other couchsurfers. Also, for US travelers The Lost Continent by Bill Bryson is great.
