I want to see the world through eyes of others. Everybody has their own "meaning of life," and I enjoy learning how different people and cultures manifest this meaning -- all the contrasts, and all the universality.

- Illuminating the water at the Phosphorescent Bay in Puerto Rico
- Watching 4th of July fireworks explode all across Washington State from the top of Mount Si
- Catching fireflies at Skaneateles Lake in upstate New York
- Taking in the endless pastures on the train rides from Utrecht to Amsterdam
- Speeding through Copenhagen by bike
- Dancing in a mess of colored powder while celebrating Holi in Vrindavan and Mathura
- Watching the sun rise over the Himalayas from above the clouds in Annapurna Sanctuary
