Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We surfed in Virginia near Shenandoah National Park, Maine near Acadia National Park, and in Parnamirim, Brazil for the World Cup! Hoping to return the favor as soon as we have our own place in Boston :)
Interests
We both love being outdoors, hiking, exploring.
Jeremy is a big sports fan, especially ice hockey. He can stare at maps for hours which is rather strange and loves hearing about people's cultures and religions. He cares lots about creating a more sustainable food system.
Becca is interested in creating caring and supportive communities. She enjoys exploring new places without a map or a plan. She's inspired by a beautiful sunset or a moving conversation. She has trouble resisting ice cream.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In high school, Becca led a trip of her peers to Cuba, working with a religious community there. The experience truly opened her eyes to the lives, people, and history of the country. She was deeply moved by the connections that people can make, despite a lack of verbal communication.
Jeremy was lucky enough to spend a semester in Auckland, New Zealand. It's hard for him to pick one or two moments that really struck him. Every time he had the opportunity to hike and explore the country, he did, and each new place he discovered was incredible. He also spent a summer traveling the west coast with his family and seeing the Grand Canyon made him realize how beautiful America is and how much of his own country he stills need to discover.
