Overview
About Me
Curious about many things. I have a tough time sticking to one thing, and probably because of that.
I think I’m pretty open-minded and culturally aware. Just knowing that differences exist, and not judging them is half the battle.
I’m prepping to be a mental health counselor. Switched up from environmental work to psychological work. I figured that our actions are just a reflection of the human condition, and since the human condition sucks, that’s really what’s killing the planet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and experiencing new things.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: My music collection is all over the place, but the main genre is what I am calling "ambient electronica". Check out: Burns by George Fitzgerald, Begin Again by Purity Ring, Aqarium by Nosaj Thing, and Kusanagi by ODESZA. P.S. Please do not listen to these songs through cheap speakers. Electronica is meant to be experienced.
MUST SEE MOVIES: The Crow, Fight Club, Princess Mononoke, Ink, Pan's Labyrinth, Inception, Labyrinth (with David Bowie), A Beautiful Mind, Requiem For a Dream (though only once).
AUTHORS: I'm usually reading something in the realm of self-help psychology, social issues, or environmental matters. Check out: Ishmael: A Novel by Daniel Quinn; Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle; Slave Ship by Marcus Rediker; The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel Van Der Kolk, or The Ethical Slut: A Practical Guide to Polyamory, Open Relationships, and other Adventures.
BEST VIDEO GAMES EVER: God of War (PS4), Final Fantasy VI
Teach, Learn, Share
Everyone is different and these differences are often good. So if you're feeling awkward, give it time and respect. You will probably come to like, or even love, what at first seemed so different to you!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I care about people and the environment and I love to engage in deep conversations about these things. I'm also a decent cook!
