About Me
I'm on a slow mission to visit all the countries in the world, and I'm currently at 100+ countries (halfway there!) I started travelling in 2013 when I turned 21, and have been juggling between life in Singapore and the big world outside. In 2017, I took 2 years off to travel around the world, hitchhiking from the southern part of China to Spain, and then from Argentina all the way to the US. I was on a mission: no trains, no buses, just my thumb, and I made it out mostly alive (with a lot of stories to tell of course).
I really enjoy conversations, and experiencing life with people from not just other cultures, but lifestyles and experiences. Just chilling at home over coffee or wine, or taking a spontaneous road trip to a beautiful location, or even taking a hike or overnight camp over the weekend. I will always say yes to going outdoors to the beach, climbing a volcano or eating a cold dessert on the street. Having an open mind to experiences is what keeps me passionate about travel and people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Throughout my travels, I've met so many amazing people from all walks of life. People with different perspectives on living, people who have different goals in life, and people who know things about a city that I would never know.
Every one of us, including you, has a unique story to tell. Let's share our stories, laugh at them together and create new experiences. In this world where social media rules over everything else, I feel that we talk less and share less (ironically). It's time for us to reconnect!
Interests
Hit me up if you also enjoy the outdoors, anything from hiking, camping, swimming to diving. Even going on road trips along scenic routes, having a picnic at a panoramic spot -- I am always up for escaping the city a little and getting back to nature.
Also, a big foodie here. I love a good local food recommendation, and one thing I do whenever I visit a new city is to ask someone for their best food places and actually going to try it! Similarly, I always bring my guests to my favourite street food places in Singapore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiked 150,000km across Asia, Europe, South America and North America over 2 years, without paying for any long distance land transportation! Only took a flight between Spain and Argentina, and back home to Singapore from the US. Spent countless days camping in the middle of nowhere, at petrol stations, border posts and even in a prison cell (yes, camping, not jailed). Met the most amazing people, ate the nicest foods and could not ask for a better life experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to share experiences; if you have the time let's go on a spontaneous trip. It can be something outdoors like a mountain, or to the beach, and can also be something around the city like getting some delicious food or singing our hearts out in a karaoke.
If you prefer to stay home, I would love to share some food, a good wine or coffee and have a good conversation about life. Let's laugh, enjoy and create positive memories together!
