ABOUT ME

When I'm home in Toronto, I love to see live music, sample restaurants around the city, be outside as much as possible riding my bike, play board games with friends, and play music. I love to cook and bake (I went to college in Edmonton for baking).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed in New York, Sidney Australia, Melbourne, and New Zealand! I've never had a bad experience and I look forward to providing accommodation as awesome as the kind I've received when I get home from Europe :)

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One day when I was living in Maleny, Queensland, I was hitch hiking home from the grocery store. The woman who stopped to pick me up was a wild life protector. She had a basket filled with baby blankets in the front seat with a tiny wallaby joey wrapped up inside. This was during the floods in December 2010 so the mother had likely died in the water or on the road. She had just picked him up and was going to being him back to the hospital to nurse him back to health. I was so touched and inspired by her efforts. I'd love to go back one day and volunteer at her in-home animal hospital.
