About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Breathe in. Breathe out.
ABOUT ME
I'm on the pursuit of happyness and on a mission to find out everything there is to know about the human condition. I know this isn't possible, but that's no reason not to try, is it? I'm an avid reader and I write quite a lot. I'm an idealist and proud of it, and I always cheer for the underdog. I travel light - and always with my backpack. I enjoy watching people, and watching people watch people. I break things and i lose stuff regularly. I wish there would be no cages for innocent beings in this world. I hate shopping malls with a passion. I dig music; I play guitar in a rock band and used to play drums in a punkish band. I consider having a beer with a friend (or an interesting stranger) to be one of the greatest pleasures; such a good way for a heart to heart, living in the moment, cultivating and celebrating friendship. Big fan of inside jokes and inside jokes about inside jokes. Allergic to goodbyes.
PHILOSOPHY
I haven't chosen to be here but I am fucking glad that I am. I am not looking for one big purpose in life, because that would be a waste of time. Life is rich and beautiful enough without a manual and a manual can only limit you. I try to enjoy every moment and be the best that I can be. Not only for myself, but for everyone around me, for the environment, for all beings on this planet. In order to do that, I want to constantly improve myself, learn new things, get rid of blinding ideologies and never stand still. I want to be committed to the things and people I love, but still be independent. And I'm always trying to be aware that everything I do has consequences, and these consequences should do as little harm as possible.
