I'm Jeroen, born and raised in Belgium in Dutch. My English is also quite good and I can help myself in French. My German needs a bit of work, but I understand as good as everything when people are speaking German next to me. I think of myself as an open minded person who, like a lot of people in my generation, wants to change the world. I'm trying to live my life day by day and not planning too much ahead. That way you can get surprised in the most unexpected ways. That's also what I like to experience being a member of Couchsurfing. I'm not strictly vegetarian, but when I have the choice I will always choose the no-meat dish.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I did an internship abroad in the Leeuwarden in the Netherlands for 4 months in 2017. My best friend did it in Paramaribo, Surinam. After that internship we both were graduated and we weren't ready to go to work, but we didn't know what to study either. After a while we started looking up stuff about travelling and we decided to travel the world for a little bit. A world trip can be quite expensive and we also want to meet new people, so those are the main reasons we are on Couchsurfing.
