About Me

I live in Ghent, Flanders for almost 3 years now working/studying as a PhD student. I try to use every possibility I get to travel around, currently on a mission to visit every country in Europe and of course make friends in all of them. I enjoy chatting about basically everything, over a good (craft)beer or a nice glass of wine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people from all over the world, learn about and expierence different cultures

Interests

As most people on here I guess, the main part of my holidays I spend traveling. I enjoy both citytrips as well as hiking adventures, trying to make the most out of every holiday and making as much friends as possible along the way.

I spend my free time making music (or at least attempting to do so) and learning useless skills such as juggling, card shuffling etc. So if you happen to have any super usefull skill please teach me 😁.

Also, I enjoy the search to get just the right angle and lighting for the perfect instagram post 📸.

Music, Movies, and Books

Big fan of DnB, 70's rock, lo-fi,... I basically listen to everything, dependant on my mood.

Action and sci-fi movies are my favourites, comedy and the occasional drama are also okay.
Big fan of Tarantino.

I am currently reading the fantasy series "the wheel of time". But I also like a good thriller to change things up.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking and wildcamping in the Scottish highlands

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to play some songs on bass guitar or how to play flute (bansuri). Also, i can tell you the secret to making real Belgian fries, if you teach me some of you're cooking of course.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As I said before, I can offer you a chat about nearly everything (I'm a great listener too) or exchange some cooking skills and typically Belgian recipies.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, China, Czech Republic, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Macedonia, Malaysia, Netherlands, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, United States
