About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Couchsurf from Boston to San Francisco (YES)
ABOUT ME
A medicine student from the beautiful city of Amsterdam. I have lived in the less beautiful but still pretty awesome Boston in America. I' was studying there but am now back, where life's good).
I'm a former right winged, progressively more hippie becoming sir that is really looking forward to this big adventure. I love a good party (Amsterdam style) but drinking a glass of Scotch while talking about Chinese politics makes me tingle too. Decadency is the mother of all sins.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that we are all going to die, one much faster the other.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I will be ridiculously fun. Always ready to have a nice local party. Not afraid to become pretty cultural, museum, art, politics or history. I will most definitely cook you a great meal and will not sing for you. I just can't.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Very much a rookie. We have a nice couch in Amsterdam where people are more than willing to surf on though. During my awesome trip around the USA I have crashed a couch or 10 which where very good experiences. Loved meeting new people, talking about the meaning of life and stuff like that.
Interests
I'm interested in everything between forgotten Russian vegetarian recipes and unplanned but not unwanted genocides in the middle-ages.
I am honestly interested in many things. I have lived in Rome to study Italian, studied art history, islamic politics and now medicine. Right now I'm back becoming a doctor after a half year of doing research at Harvard. I like to read and listen music (mostly electronic but everything from Santana to Chopin and German Schlager music)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like one movie: Anchorman - The legend of Run Burgundy.
He has written a book and made music with a Jazz flute. Those are therefore my favorite things.
Electronic music (House, Deep-House and Techno) is something I can very much enjoy. But I'm not shy to become emotional on some dirty classical music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen a puppy on jet skis. Amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you more about the human body than hours of thorough research on Wikipedia will teach you. The things I can teach are not the things you want to learn though.
