About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meet people all over the world.
ABOUT ME
I'm an ambitious person who like to see the whole world. Grew up in Belgium, which is very tiny compared to the rest of the world. That's why I want to travel and see as much as possible. Lived in Berlin where I have met my Dutch girlfriend. 6 years later we're living in Utrecht, the Netherlands with our three beautiful children, Abel of 3 and Clara and Marie, 1,5 years old.
PHILOSOPHY
Live your day like it's you're last.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Spend quite some nights on couches all over the world when I was between 19-25. Then the adult life started and whit my small family there isn't a lot of world travel anymore.
Met amazing people in London and all over the US. It's cool to go somewhere in the world, to meet new people and learn about their culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On my first night on my first time in New York is was walking around TKTS when a young woman came to me and gave me a free ticket for 'Annie'. It was worth 120$ and she gave it for free. The second night my hosts took me to a dinner for Chinese New Year.
The second time in New York I went to a halloween party after being awake for 40 hours. Played a drinking game with a Norwegian, a Australian, a Russian and a Egyptian guy. Wonderful night.
In June 2014 I've done a little trip around the US to Washington, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Which was actually quite awesome if I think back about it.
In April 2015 I flew around the world in just 10 days. From Rome to Singapore to Japan to New York and to Brussels. It was fun.
I also flew Qatar Airways First Class twice. Special experience.
Spend 2 weeks in Feb '17 seeing as much as possible in New Zealand. The Tongariro crossing is one off the most rewarding this I've done.
Did a roadtrip around Kyrgyzstan, which is like the real version of NZ. Really loved it.
And I did the Everest Base Camp hike in Nepal, arriving at BC on Christmas day 2017. Wonderful.
I have done a a two week Para Camp in the Belgium army, so now I have a 'parachute certificate'. I also have a PADI Adventure Open Water Diver license, which allow me to dive all over the world. But it's been a while (no great oceans close to Belgium) so I guess I'm out of practice.
