Overview
About Me
I studied philosophy and then went to work in a library for a non-profit organization in Guatemala city. After my partner was killed, I bought a motorcycle and traveled for one year through Latin America in an attempt to find my bearings again.
I decided to study medicine and started working for international organizations in different parts of the world. I'm grateful it allowed me to meet people from many different backgrounds and cultures.
Since covid I am the medical coordinator for a large refugee agency, but I still try to travel whenever I can. By now I've been to well over a hundred countries, and I particularly like remote places such as Mongolia and Namibia.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Help people during their travels. I have met some truly special people through this website.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like old rock music. And Neruda, a chilean poet: "eres azul como la noche en Cuba / tienes enredaderas y estrellas en el pelo".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
By now I've traveled across many places, but I'll never forget my motorcycle journey from Mexico to Argentina.
Teach, Learn, Share
There's not much I know, but I'd gladly share everything I have.
