I found out about this site by someone I met in Barcelona, and that's the thing I like on travelling alone you get to know more people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If you want to meet up during weekends or after work hours for a drink in Amsterdam sent me a message. It gives me an excuse to act like a tourist in Amsterdam.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At the moment that i'm typing this i'm staying in Barcelona for 4 weeks. I'm living in a studentflat and even that it's not the luxery that i'm used to, this is turning out into one of the best holidays i've ever had. I met 2 couchsurfers here in Barcelona and ended up having a great night with lots of Sangria and a view on a drunken guy dancing on a balcony.

That night has inspired me of becoming a CS member

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hanging out of an airplane. Parasailing. In the near future skydiving. Tomatina festival in 2007. Kaiser chiefs in concert, Racoon in concert. Losing about 10 kg in just a weekend by the hand of a piece of chicken! Guy Fawkes night in London.

I'm going to the US Open men's single final, can't wait hoping to see Federer. Update: I did!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well "don't eat yellow snow" is kind of outdated since the whole global warming issue. Let me put it this way: at this moment I should be sleeping but my coughing neighbour is keeping me awake. Sooo always take earplugs or your trusty Ipod with you!

I'm wondering if it's actually my neigbour she sounds like a cat vomiting...
