ABOUT ME

Hi There, we are a dutch couple away from home. We are traveling through south America at the moment. We started 8th of september in Ecuador and heading down south. After celebate carnaval in Rio de Jainero we will go back home again. Where we´ll pick up the normal live for a few years...and after that start travelling again!

Madeleine is 29 and lives in Rotterdam. She worked as a social worker and guide in a museum for the last 4 years.
Jeroen is 24 and lives in a small village, Barendrecht, 5 km under Rotterdam. He is graduated in the field of industrial design this summer. Not yet a job so this is the perfect time for us to travel for a long time.

We are both into scouting. Madeleine is a girl-scout leader(11-14 years old) and has serveral other functions within the Dutch scout organisation. Jeroen is been a leader of boy-scouts till a few years ago.

We both like to travel, that´s why we do this now, and explore new countries and cultures.

There´s a lot more but that´s something for an other moment.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Madeleine saw an documantary a few years ago about the project. Now we are travelling we are participating.

We both live at our parents at home. But when return and found a place for ourselfs we definitily going to set a couch.
