About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finish my Msc in Int. Land and water management. Afterwards start a company that spreads permaculture more and more!

ABOUT ME

There's no need for stress, try to bring good to myself as to others by avoiding negativity. Meaning; just chill.

Hang out with friends, go to cool places and relax, make music, bonfires, swim, surf, dive, bungee jump, whatever you can think of, discuss it and we'll make a plan. Cooking is what I love as well!

Have a big food garden permaculture style!! Everyone must have it, we must fight the markets controlling our food security!

Travelling is necessary for every human being that does not want to be stuck in his own small world, for the world we live in is very big and we have to see everything before we go. Leave good behind wherever you go, that's why I study, learn and teach, while enjoying life.

PHILOSOPHY

To make the world a better place. Too much people have a individual lifestyle, or are afraid of changes/new things. The materialistic time we are now in I hope to see changed soon. I like to read books as the Celestine Prophecy, however the writing itself is not that good, the message in the books grasps me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CS meetings for now, at surf at people's places. I live in a big student house where all space is open, so security wise we can't host. When I have my own space, FOR SURE YEAH!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Meetings only and by that meeting other CS'ers, cool stuff. Travelling and experiencing is golden. Went hitch-hiking for 1000km through Poland and Germany with 2 CS'ers I met on a meeting. Chill out, have a barbeque (braai for SA'ers) and make music!

Interests

I'm (as most human beings) a social creature, so like to do everything with someone else, to share experiences. Playing music, being in the forest, or preferably near a big lake/river/sea. To dive, I surf, but I suck. I love snowboarding! Cooking, I definitely like very good food!!

If you have spare time, do something good with it, synchronisity will lead the way (Celestine prophecy). Worked with me, try it out and don't be scared!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: John Mayer, Clapton, Toto, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gary Moore, Goldfish, St. Germain, but now mostly funky jazz.

Movies; Dances with wolves, August Rush, surfer dude, the green mile, unbearable lightness of being, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind and definitely man on the moon, hahaha!

Books: Alchemist, Like a flowing river, Shantaram, Celestine prophecy, End of Poverty, Eckhart's notes (for the entrepeneurs that speak dutch), starting on Freud, Nietzsche and Marx, but that is still some months away.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Nepal, 3,5 months changed my life. I was 19 then and it was a beautiful shock to see how friendly and genuine people actually can be! In the western world it works different, go to Nepal and you'll see what I mean ;) The country needs the money as well, travelling, accommodation and food is super cheap and still relatively untouched!

Teach, Learn, Share

YES, Great!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Macedonia, Spain, Ukraine

Countries I’ve Lived In

Netherlands, South Africa
