I try to travel as much as I can, seeing the world and meeting new interesting people along the way. I’m always looking for new experiences. My plan is to visit at least one new country every year.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really like using it as a platform to get to know people abroad and being able to visit them to experience new places through a local's eyes. In return I love showing people some of the nice things that the Netherlands has to offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've met great people traveling and couchsurfing in China, Australia, Japan, England, Ukrain, Scotland and Germany. I loved going places a tourist would normally not go and seeing more of the country than I would probably have seen otherwise. I’ve also hosted a few people and had nothing but good experiences.

兴趣

As I said before I really like traveling. Next to traveling I've always loved cars and motorbikes and I am a big Formula 1 fan. I also really enjoy hanging out with friends or going for a drink in a bar or cafe.

Movies:
Some of my favorite movies are Into the Wild, Motorcycle diaries, Jurassic Park, Apocalypse Now, Avatar, Ice Age etc..

Music:
In music my taste is quite diverse as well, from pop/top 40 and dubstep to rock and jazz. Currently really into Drum & Base.

Books:
Not much of a reader I'm affraid ;-)

Can’t pick the most amazing one so here are a few:

- Went cagediving with great white sharks in Australia
- Rode my motorbike to the most northern point of Scotland
- Visited the Chernobyl exclusion zone in Ukrain
- Went to the underground midnight car meetings in Tokyo
- Had a diving lesson at the Great Barrier Reef

Learn: I like learning about other cultures and countries.

Share: I always love sharing travel stories with the people I meet. It’s a great way of getting new insights and ideas for the future.
