Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Jérôme, a French iOS developer and proud dad of two little adventurers. I recently left the corporate world to launch my own app studio focused on meaningful and creative projects for families and kids.
I love sharing good food, silly board games, deep talks, and spontaneous laughs — even better if we’re somewhere new. I’m always curious to meet people from different backgrounds and hear their stories.
Clean, respectful, and easygoing, I’m not here just for a couch — I’m here for connection.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m recently separated, and I share custody of my two little boys. During my weeks without them, I’m trying to make the most of my freedom by traveling, meeting new people, and enjoying the unexpected.
Couchsurfing is a way for me to reconnect — with others, with the world, and with myself.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy music that blends emotion and storytelling — artists like Orelsan, Pomme, Ben Mazué, or Fauve. I love movies that feel both real and poetic, like those by Cédric Klapisch or animated films from Pixar. When it comes to books, I’m drawn to sensitive, sharp writing — I enjoy authors like Mathias Malzieu, Maud Ventura, and Sophie Astrabie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I left a stable job to build my own app studio from scratch — creating meaningful tools for kids and parents, inspired by my own journey as a dad. It’s been scary, exciting, and the most fulfilling adventure so far.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning and exchanging about how the human brain works — cognitive biases, behavior design, child development, and what makes us who we are. I’m always up for deep conversations about education, gentle parenting, feminism, and how we can rethink things to build a more thoughtful world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share good conversation, curious questions, a home-cooked meal, and a genuine interest in your city and your story. I’m tidy, respectful, and happy to adapt. If you’re into it, we can also exchange ideas about tech, creativity, parenting, or just life in general.
