About Me
About me? Mmmm. Well, I´m new to this so I´ll just put the basics and see how I get on... Born in Cape Town, raised in Ireland, lived in Edinburgh for a while. Last five years living in Bolivia while seeing parts of South America. Into motorbikes, music, (piano and guitar mainly), creating things, fixing things (good to have around in that respect), things of the spirit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Cos it´s cheap, seems really genuine and everyone says it´s great. Simple really... Is verifying really necessary? Doubt it, most of these sites seem to want your cash for some sort of imaginary privilege... So... In November 2016 I´ll be heading up towards Ecuador and see what happens. Hopefully I can start to build up some kind of profile from there...

Music, Movies, and Books
Music, all sorts except for aggressive stuff like really heavy metal... Classically trained, piano and guitar...
Movies? Mmm. Favourite 3? No idea. Really like The Green Mile, Cloud Atlas, Dr. Strangelove, The Big Lebowski, Memento. That should be enough, right?
Books... It´s not that I´m not into literature but I don´t read it much... Just don´t tend to read a lot of fiction... So, what do I have in my library? Stuff about healing, science, history, what´s going on in the world today, that sort of stuff. A very diverse collection. The problem is it takes a few seconds to download a book online and a lot longer to read it so I have enough stuff to last me a life-time or two...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Played a piano concert in the Casa de la Libertad in Sucre, Bolivia. You can google "Jerome Myburgh" if you want to see an excerpt. The piano hadn´t been tuned or seen to in about a hundred years so take it with a pinch of very old salt. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Lots of skills from welding to carpentry... Could teach English or music. Could learn anything. Could share what I feel will be understood and appreciated...
What I Can Share with Hosts
Like I said in the previous section... Lots of skills from carpentry to welding to mechanics (especially motorbikes but cars and other stuff as well) to music to cooking to anything really... Chatting about life!
