ABOUT ME

I'm calm and quiet but not shy. I like to listen at first but if you ask for my opinion I'll be happy to give it to you. I also love to talk about art, culture, history, politics and almost anything else (As long as it's not really meaningless).

PHILOSOPHY

I haven't discovered the meaning of life yet but I'm still trying to figure out the best way to live my life. I try to apply the credo of taekwon-do (Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-control, Indomitable spirit). I guess that's a start. But I'm sure there's much more to be seen and experienced than just being a "good person". And of course I'm looking to have as much fun as possible in my quest for answers.

I finally decided to start travelling more. I'd also love to host sometime in the near futur if possible.

None yet, but I'd love to share as much as possible from now on.

兴趣

I have been playing guitar and keyboards in bands for some years now. I've traveled around the province of Quebec to play shows and hope to do keep doing it for a long time. I've also practiced Taekwon-Do since I was a kid and I'm now teaching it. When I have some free time, I like to read, go see live shows, exercice, visit museums or just stay home and play a game or watch a movie.

I have read almost everything written by Boris Vian. I also read a lot from Milan Kundera and Leonard Cohen. I loved High Fidelity by Nick Hornby and Crime and Punishment by Dostoïevski.

I love A LOT of different music styles but I always seem to go back to pop/rock. Especially the Beatles. Jeff Buckley is probably the artist that I admire the most.

I love movies by Jim Jarmusch, Wes Anderson, Kevin Smith, Terry Gillian, Michel Gondry... I can really enjoy all type of movies but it depends of my mood.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Right now, I have to say that I'm really impressed and moved by the students protest in Montreal. It has gone far beyond a monetary issue and is now affecting people of all age. I have never seen people so involved in politic here in my life and it give me some faith in our generation.

I'd be happy to teach anyone how to play guitar or musical theory knowledge. I can also teach you Taekwon-Do basics or discuss Quebec history.
