ABOUT ME

We met in Australia on in a working hostel during a Victorian Winter. Fed up with the cold, we bought a car together after only 2 weeks of dating and drive straight trough the middle of Australia with the destination being - the SUN.
Almost 3 years later we are still going.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jerome`s favorite book is Tongkat (Tonguecat) by Peter Verhelst. In Belgium it is notorious for being begun and then abandoned unfinished by most people who try to read it. J. has read it 5 times and still doesn`t have a clue what it's about but loves the style it is written in.
At the moment J. is reading a lot of non fiction books about people having adventures.
Coming from Belgium J. has to love graphic novels, or strips as they are called in Belgium.
J.`s favorite movie is the Big Lebowski and hopes one day to be like The Dude.
Michelle`s favorite books would be best described as Vampire porn (but we try that to keep a secret).
A favorite movie we share is Watchmen. It has been descided that our future cat will have to be black and white so we can call him/her Rorshach. And we both enjoy Asian animated movies. (it's not a cartoon, it's anime!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For Michelle it is almost certainly the diaper commercial where the baby has a laughing fit because his mother pretends to sneeze. Classic.

For Jerome it has to be the view from the top of a tall hill.Any hill. Or mountain. Just point him at a hill and he will climb it just to see what's at the top. And he's never disappointed.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are not really sure about what we can share.
Jerome graduated as a teacher and can teach you sports and Dutch.
Michelle is a Zoologist and knows lots about animals. \
J. has lots of random knowledge about everything that for some reason got stuck in his mind during the time that he should have been studying.
M. loves cooking and inventing recipes because she never has the correct ingredients, but is a bit nervous when other people eat her inventions.
We are moving towards the end of our travels and start of serious life. It would be good for us to see how people handle that while still having the relaxed and fun feeling of travelling.
