About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to find life in every moment!
ABOUT ME
I'm a very laid back, easy-going, personable, accepting, and open-minded person who is easy to get along with. But I am passionate about life, love, and learning! I love being in nature most of all and re-connecting with life through that path.
I'm not necessarily looking for a friend from couchsurfing hosting because I understand that sometimes you just need a place to stay, but if we have things in common, so much the better.
PHILOSOPHY
We all are doing the best that we can at our current moment; "May you live every day of your life"; "Be alert as you watch a dog at play or at rest. Let the animal teach you to feel at home in the Now, to celebrate life by being completely present"; "We get lost in doing, thinking, remembering, anticipating - lost in a maze of complexity and world of problems. Nature can show us the way home, the way out of the prisons of our own minds."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would love to give advice about anything to see or do in Seattle. I just moved here, so I'm learning the city as well.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In the distant past, I've always taken the hostel route, but with couch surfing, I get to experience and be immersed in daily life of the location I visit, and be immersed in the lives of others. I've had some great friendships made from couchsurfing, and I hope for many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've had so many! I'll pick just one for now: A monkey stole my ice cream out of my hand in Gibraltar. I was incredibly upset since it was my first ice cream bar in a year. Then he climbed out of reach and ate it in front of me, making sure I could see him eating MY ice cream. I hate monkeys.
Teach, Learn, Share
Learn to let go and listen! Oh, and make sure to make copies of your passport. And pack everything separately in plastic bags. Seriously. It makes packing and living out of a backpack much easier.
Make sure to be outgoing when traveling (or any time, but especially traveling). Many people and opportunities and adventures will open up to you if you just make the small effort to introduce yourself in a personable way.
