Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I recently hosted an Australian traveler before even joining this site and it made me realize how very little I've traveled in my life. This young man flew to L.A., bought a van, then drove across the country to NYC. I happened to meet him in Memphis and offered him a place to stay. I was in awe and admiration of his spirit of adventure..... I REALLY have to get out more.... I think this is a good way to start. I'm really interested in meeting people from all over the world, including right here in the United States!
