Currently I live in Sendai for a research year at Tohoku University, since I am living in a dormitory I cannot accept any overnight guests due to university regulations :/ ...

I am a person that is basically interested in almost anything and everybody, which brings me to my problem of constant lack of time. But through this I have learned a good time managament while juggling with three part-time jobs next to my studies and my other interests that you can find in the sections below.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people, show them what I know and learn from them what they have to teach. I like to meet individuals who have their own mind and thoughts on different topics and hear their view of the world, it's problems and their solutions. I want to show especially my hometown, share some german hospitality and make you enjoy your stay.

Interests

I like riding motorbikes, flying glider airplanes and watching sport, especially football, baseball and snooker. I love playing the piano which I play since I was 5 and I love to indulge myself in books and movies that challenge my thoughts. I am a nutcrack for Star Wars, history, philosophy and politics and discussions about any topic. I love to have arguments to challenge other people's minds to train my own critical thinking abilities.

Music, Movies, and Books

Since I play the piano I like music genres like classic, jazz, soundtrack and pop music. When I enjoy listening to music I mostly prefer rock, hard rock and metal, but then again I also love the Beatles and Abba for example - generally I am for the old school stuff. When I go clubbing I also enjoy house, techno, electro and minimal. Although probably HipHop and R'n'B are the genres I enjoy the least there are still artists that I regard as valueable assets to my playlist from these fields. My favourite band would be Sabaton though, no doubt.

I love Star Wars, but I also like thought challenging movies like Fight Club. Best ask me about movies in person, this is too much to write here !

The best book series I have ever read is "A Song of Ice and Fire" - don't call it Game of Thrones, I'm a purist on such things ^^ ... But I generally enjoy thrillers, historical novels, sci-fi novels but also classical literature and philosophical theses.
