Overview
About Me
First and foremost, rock climbing has been my passion for the past 3 years, and it has helped me aspire and develop into a more adventurous person with a greater outlook in life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to travel on a budget which makes CouchSurfing a great choice if I'm limited in options, but more than budget I want to be forced to leave my comfort zone and socialize with people so that I can get the full experience of traveling and meeting people instead of just greetings and quick gestures to familiar faces. If I was only looking for a place to sleep, I would stay at a hostel or AirBnB.
I'd like to be able to be able to host in the future when I move out and achieve independence as a way of repaying the community and providing others with a memorable experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I bathed in an outdoor public bath in Japan during a crisp autumn night with Mount Fuji in the distant background. In hindsight I should have woken up early the next morning so to bathe and watch Mount Fuji light up with sunrise.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm considered a high level rock climber (v7 outdoors for those who know the jargon) and I love to talk about climbing so anything related to that I'm more than happy to share my knowledge and perspective on!
I'd love to become poly-lingual (Spanish, Mandarin, Chinese, Korean, German, and French are the ones I want to learn most) so if anyone if offering quick language lessons/common everyday phrases I'm open ears!
I do not have much to share yet as I'm still a budding 22 years young, however I would still love to talk about philosophy, ethics, religion, traveling, cooking, etc... just about any topic that can ignite a long, enjoyable conversation!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm moderately versed in cooking - in fact, I would like to be able to cook a variety of dishes from around the world so that I can see my friends smile and laugh together at the dinner table or where ever we happen to eat.
I can cook during my stay and offer to help with chores or errands to repay and show my gratitude for my stay. And if the errands require me to go hunting out in the city then even better because I can experience life as a local (sorta) and learn the ins and outs of the city!
Countries I’ve Visited
