About Me

I was born and raised in Indonesia before moving to the US in 2006 to attend the University of Washington. Graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree and started work at one of the most well-known internet company (the one you use to search the web :o).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people from different cultures. I do highly believe that meeting locals is the best way to immerse one's self in a different city/country.

Interests

I'm a huge sports fan. While still living in Asia, I follow most sports there: football (soccer), Formula 1, badminton. After living in the US for the past 9 years, I'm now also into american football, baseball, basketball. During my very recent trip to India, I also got the chance to learn a bit about cricket.

Other than the above, . I'm moderately good at playing football (soccer), basketball, table tennis, tennis, and badminton. I also enjoy scenic drives, hiking, and exploring new, unique, obscure places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love great documentaries (particularly about crime), good movies with a twist, and good music.

Movies: Shawshank Redemption, Beautiful Mind, Ocean's Eleven, The Usual Suspects, Shutter Island, Superbad, Knocked Up, This is The End, Shaun of The Dead, Inside Man, School of Rock, Catch Me if You Can, Sixth Sense, Kick Ass, Argo, American Gangster, Love Actually

Music: I don't have a preferred genre/artist.. I do like a lot of very random music. If it's music to my ears, it's music I like.

Books: I actually prefer news articles.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you like to learn new languages, I can teach you some Indonesian. It is not a hard language to learn at all.

Tons of stories about Indonesia, the US, my life experiences, great trips in the US. :) I can also show you (digital) photos from my past trips in the US.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Both good and puns--I love good humor/comedy too.
